Congratulations to Fro Fo' Sho for winning the production battle in Eau Claire for the third time in a row! This year's win earned Fro a spot at Scribble Jam in Cincinnati, OH. The crew will be driving down there immediately after our show with Afroman at the Stones Throw October 24. Tickets to the Afroman show are now available at the Stones Throw and online (click here). This will be one of the biggest shows Eau Claire has ever seen and it is sure to sell out, so get your tickets early.

Just makin sure everyone's in the mood for summer! The first Effit Fest pre-party is happening at The Stones Throw in Eau Claire this Saturday. Heatbox, Kanser, and Max Power and the Feedback will be performing. All you gotta do is show up and you have a chance to win one of two Effit Fest tickets that will be given away that night!

Some really Eff'd Up things are happening right now. Tomorrow we're releasing our latest effort: "Hum-B Presents: Forever Fly II" which will be available to purchase online, at all our shows, and at almost every music festival this summer (look for the Effit Records banner). Plans for Effit Fest are in full swing and this year is gonna be even bigger and better than last year. Keep on the lookout for the linup, which will be announced soon. Eff’d Up has been having an effin’ good time since Effit Fest. To give you a run down: We played the after-party for the Best of All Worlds Festival at Bean Snappers Gentlemen’s Club in Appleton, we did the pre-show party for the Kottonmouth Kings/Tech N9ne show in Milwaukee, we opened up for Vanilla Ice and Afroman at Hip Hop Back to School in Duluth. We did shows with the Rusty P’s, The Crest, Project 13 w/ Carnage & Capaciti, Heatbox, Unknown Prophets, Bill and Dan’s Excellent Adventure, Irie Sol, Moon Dawg, Kinetix, Duce Duce Entertainment, and more. We finally added a DJ to the group (DJ Beze). Fro won the production contest at Hip Hop Invasion again. If you missed all that, you can still catch our show with Heiruspecs at The Stones Throw on November 30. Plus, Effit Fest 2008 is in the works...stay informed and stay Eff’d Up!

For those of you who haven't heard, Effit Records is throwing its first major festival this May. Effit Fest will take place at the NCN North Campground in Black River Falls, WI from May 25-28. The $60 ticket price will get you a weekend of camping and performances by 30 of the best bands in the Midwest. Look for a complete performer list coming soon. There will also be a limited number of $50 advance tickets available online and at select locations in Wisconsin and Minnesota. If you are a vendor or performer there are still a few spaces open. Yesterday, Eff'd Up performed at the 1st Annual Eau Claire Hip Hop Invasion Festival. Congrats to Effit's very own Fro Fo' Sho, who took first place in the production competiton! This was a testament to Fro's skill and dedication to the art of making beats. To hear some of Fro's masterful works, listen to almost any track from Effit Records.
